Sam has been guiding with Squamish Rock Guides for over 10 years and consistently spends more days in the field each season than anyone else on the team. He is an extremely experienced climber with expert-level skills and a deep understanding of the local terrain.

Sam has traveled extensively to climb around the world, but Squamish remains the place he enjoys the most. He appreciates the personal challenges and growth that climbing can provide and brings a steady, focused approach to his guiding. Sam is approachable, friendly, and enjoys sharing his experience with others so they can have meaningful and rewarding days out climbing.
