Kyle Skidmore

ACMG Apprentice Rock Guide, Bsc

More than three decades of climbing experience has given Kyle a wealth of knowledge that he is eager to share. Eight years of Search and Rescue and six years of Ski Patrol, and more recently completing the Canadian Avalanche Association Operations Level 1 course, has extended Kyle’s mountain sense far beyond the realm of rock.

Kyle has lead expeditions to the Himalayan and Alaskan ranges, and has performed technical mountain rescues in the Bugaboos and in steep rope access box canyons. This experience has made safety his number one priority.

As newly minted Apprentice Rock Guide, Kyle is working hard to apply his skills towards the full Mountain Guide certification. Check out some of Kyle’s adventure portraits @kyleskidmorephotography.
