Jesse discovered climbing while in college in Ontario. He began climbing first on the Canadian shield of eastern Ontario before moving to the limestone bluffs of the south. A couple years later, he headed west where he has climbed in most areas of southern BC. He likes the places climbing brings him, the community and the way climbing challenges him mentally and physically. Jesse has climbed all over the world and has a special affinity for granite trad climbs making Squamish the place for him.
Jesse likes teaching and showing people new possibilities. He is very outgoing and is excited to learn people’s story’s and what makes them excited about climbing. He loves helping people reach their goals.
Jesse has a diploma in Outdoor Adventure and a degree in Tourism Management. He is passionate about all things outdoors – climbing, mountaineering, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, and survival skills to name a few. His full-time job is managing an experiential learning program for youth. He feels that outdoor programs have brought so much value to his life and wants to share it with others as much as he can.
