James Enright

James began climbing in Ontario where his obsession transformed into a lifestyle. Every chance he had, James would be climbing on the Ontario escarpment and his passion for traditional climbing resulted in many climbing trips to Kentucky, the Adirondacks, and the New River Gorge.

Wanting to pursue a profession in the outdoor industry James attended Algonquin College and graduated with an Outdoor Adventure Diploma. For many years afterward, James worked as a guide in Ontario. However, he was fated to one day head west.

It only took one small taste to get hooked. James’ very first trip west quickly went from just a short trip to an extended trip … and he has been here ever since!

James has been instructing climbing for a long time and loves to share his passion with others. He understands the importance of every individual’s needs and accommodates for his clients so that they can get the most of their experience.

James loves to push himself in the mountains. He knows there’s no limits to what can be accomplished and he has big dreams for his future in climbing.
