ACMG Apprentice Rock Guide, TRCI, and Climbing Gym Instructor 2
Alex is happiest when he is climbing! Originally from Winnipeg, Alex did not have much opportunity to climb growing up. He first fell in love with the sport on a backpacking trip to Ecuador. Since then his life has revolved around rock climbing.
Becoming a guide was inevitable. Alex has always loved the experience of mentoring climbers. He is dedicated to sharing his skills and passion with others. As a guide, you will find him very personable, patient and highly knowledgeable.
When Alex isn’t climbing (a rare occurrence), he can be found hiking, trail running, training, or playing the guitar or piano. Alex is currently spending the climbing season in Squamish and his winters studying Kinesiology at the University of Manitoba.
