Rappel the Chief
Experience the exposure and exhilaration of being high on the largest, steepest face of the Chief: The Grand Wall. Ascending this wall takes years of developing climbing skills. Descending this same face, on the other hand, can be accomplished by people with little or no climbing expertise. All you need is a little bit of fitness and an adventurous spirit. The day starts with hiking up the famous Stawamus Chief trail. From the summit, our rappel descent begins down the massive wall overlooking Highway 99 and Howe Sound. Don’t forget your camera for this once in a lifetime experience!
