SUMMARY:Top-rope Anchors
DESCRIPTION:This 8-hour program is best suited to indoor or outdoor climbers with a small amount of belay and climbing experience who want to make the transition to independent\, outdoor top-roping. The instructional topics for the day will include crag safety\, knots\, anchor integrity\, bolt anchor construction\, tree anchor construction and multi-point anchor construction. There will be time for climbing and technique coaching and the day will conclude with a rappel. Upon completion of the program\, participants should have the necessary skills to begin top-rope climbing outdoors with a partner of equal or greater ability.
