DESCRIPTION:Sport multi-pitch climbing allows you to experience the thrill of climbing high without having to first master the art of traditional climbing. This course will give you the skills to use bolted anchors to belay a second behind you\, mange belay stations\, and complete a multi stage descent. DESCRIPTION:This 8-hour program is best suited to indoor or outdoor climbers with a small amount of belay and climbing experience who want to make the transition to independent\, outdoor top-roping. The instructional topics for the day will include crag safety\, knots\, anchor integrity\, bolt anchor construction\, tree anchor construction and multi-point anchor construction. There will be time for climbing and technique coaching and the day will conclude with a rappel. Upon completion of the program\, participants should have the necessary skills to begin top-rope climbing outdoors with a partner of equal or greater ability.
