DESCRIPTION:One of our most popular programs. The course combines the 1 day traditional lead climbing course with the multi pitch skills course in the same weekend. On day one we will focus on the fundamentals of placing bombproof protection\, building solid anchors\, and lead climbing strategy. Participants can expect to progress from mock lead climbs with a back up top rope to supervised real leads. A guide will be coaching from an adjacent rope for extra security and maximal learning outcomes. On day two we will build on the previous days curriculum adding multi-pitch systems such as rope and belay

DESCRIPTION:Multi-pitch rock climbing is one of the most exciting aspects of the sport. The exhilaration of the being high off the ground combined with satisfaction gained from completing a long climb make for a true peak experience! Our multi-pitch skills course will teach how safely and confidently tackle these objectives. This one day course is designed for climbers who have practiced some single-pitch traditional lead climbing and want to make the transition to the multi-pitch environment. The morning is spent learning multi pitch technical systems with hands on practice by the participants. The afternoon is composed of supervised multi-pitch climbing scenarios.
